About Us

VOLUNTARY AGENCY FOR SOCIAL ACTION is working especially for the poor people and the downtrodden and even for all the people who are not aware of health, socio economic and cultural status income generation and other development activities. The members of VASA has been working sincerely with the keen and spontaneous support of the common people who constantly interested to go urge upon the Govt. and other agencies to provide all financial assistant possible to give VASA for its sustaining growth.

Thoughts by our secretary

Objectives

 Provision of education for all irrespective of caste, creed, religion and economic status.

 Promotion of health service, nutrition and hygiene to make the organization health especially

prevention of dreadful disease like AIDS.

 Undertaking work towards controlling environmental pollution and social pollution.

 Help the people during natural calamities and disasters like food, draught, cyclone communal riots etc.

 Awareness generation on different, social and political issues.

 Develop agricultural, horticulture and other similar sector in scientific way to strengthen national economy.

 Development of Backward peoples especially children, women and old people SC & ST community.

 To encourage people for the best utilization non-conventional energy.

 To carry on research project, area planning documentation and publication of matters related to all philanthropic activities.

 To undertake &support the people on land development, water shade management preservation of forest and social forestry.

 To establish, control and aid child welfare centers, children’s home Rehabilitation centre of distribute women old age home first -aid-centre, hospital, technical& management institute college research centre and public reading room in rural areas irrespective of cast creed and linkage.

 To receive grant-in-aids under the Govt. schemes for the financial assistance of state Govt. or central Govt.

From the desk of Secretary.......

“VOLUNTARY AGENCY FOR SOCIAL ACTION (VASA)” got its birth for the development of mother rural Odisha. It has great role of the upliftment of the society. The organization takes adventures & enriched in all its welfare and development services with the cooperation & dedicated services of its volunteers, team members, parents, donors & above all the people.

Before concluding my report, I would like to express my deep gratitude & thanks to the team members, inhabitants of different projects concerned villagers, donors, patron agencies, the Govt. & others who have given their supports for the successive implementation of the above noble services. I would request and beg the same in the forthcoming years. May Lord Jagannath bless us & rededicate ourselves before the society in rendering the services for the inhabitants of rural Orissa.
